I saw the film great number of times ... I love the books, and though there are changes in the film ... I still truly like it I have just bought the extended DVD and most importantly, also the DVD player ;D ... quite essential thing I would say, lol. So that will be my Christmas programme. Out of the characters my absolute fave (for FOTR) was Gandalf / Ian McKellan ... that is exactly the Gandalf I "visualised". ... Nazgul were perfect ... galadriel matched my imagination too ... Elrond was a bit surprised initially, but then he bacame my fave character in the film too. And the music is beautiful ! Enya was for sure the best choice for this kind of film / topic. And, I loved the scenery / mountains, Elven dwellings, Shire rocked !, and the barren lands of Emyn Muil ... Truly beautiful !! |
